Pour-In-Place Playground Surfacing Fully Installed

Playground Surfacing PartnersSKU: Solid-Beveled-Black

Pour in Place surfacing is a versatile, durable, and seamless solution ideal for playgrounds, parks, and recreational areas. This high quality product provides a safe, slip-resistant, and cushioned surface that meets safety standards for impact absorption. A variety of colors and designs are available to help enhance the aesthetic appeal of any space while offering long-lasting performance and low maintenance. Pour in Place surfacing is the perfect solution for creating a safe and attractive play environment.

Pour In Place surfacing is composed of three layers.  The first layer is the sub base, consisting of compacted Crusher Run.  The second layer is the buffering layer, composed of recycled rubber and accounts for the thickness determined by critical fall height.  The final layer is the finished layer.  This is the visible layer that shows the color you select.

Critical Fall Height will determine the thickness of your surfacing and the depth of the sub base required.  The critical fall height is the distance from the ground to the highest platform on your play structure.

We offer the highest quality of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) granules. They are available in a range of molecular weights and colors (indicated in terms of Mooney viscosity ML (1+4) at 125o C), varying levels of ethylene, third monomer, and oil content. Our black granules are free from SBR fillers and are guaranteed to be 100% EPDM. We consider the quality of our materials important when making your surfacing project durable and aesthetically pleasing. EPDM surfacing can also be used safely in any water feature and around pools.

The EPDM rubber granule material is one of the most versatile in the safety surfacing products. They are seamless, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. When applied to critical fall height zones, EPDM safety surfacing conforms to the guidelines set by the CPSC for use in and around playgrounds.
